Success At The Bakewell Show

Tuxford & Tebbutt, Milk Link’s Stilton Creamery in Melton Mowbray, triumphed at the 179th Bakewell Show by picking up four trophies and two gold awards for the quality of its Stilton and Shropshire Blue cheese.

The four trophies were won for: Best Stilton; Best Blue Cheese; Best Cow’s Milk Cheese; and Supreme Champion in Show. Spectacularly, all of these trophies were won using the same two halves of Stilton — the ability of Tuxford & Tebbutt to win four trophies with one single product demonstrates the excellence of the Stilton produced at the Creamery. A further two gold awards were won for its Stilton and Shropshire Blue Cheese.

These latest prizes add to those gold awards and trophies won at the prestigious Nantwich International Cheese Show, the Royal Welsh Show and the Great Yorkshire Show; illustrating that Tuxford & Tebbutt is set to have a very impressive complement of awards at the end of this cheese show season.
